What this site collects, why, who else handles it, and how to ask me about it.

Who is responsible

This website, neo-edge.ai, is run by NEOEDGE AI Inc. Sam Talasila, Founder & Principal, is the person in charge of protecting personal information. For any privacy question or request, email hello@neo-edge.ai.

What I collect, and why

Visits to this site, only if you accept. When you click Accept on the cookie banner, Google Analytics records which pages you visit and what you click on them. That includes booking buttons, in-tray items, the “Which sounds most like you?” choice, questions you open and links to the free tools. It also records your browser and device type, the page that sent you here, and an approximate location (city level) that Google works out from your IP address. Analytics sets cookies in your browser (named _ga and _ga_…). I use this only to see which pages are useful and to improve the site. It isn’t used for advertising, and advertising features are turned off.

If you decline. No analytics cookies are set. Google Tag Manager still loads, and Google may receive basic signals without cookies, such as that a page loaded. Google uses these to estimate visits without identifying you.

When you book a call. Bookings go through Google Calendar. You give your name, your email address and anything you choose to add about your situation. I use them to hold the call and to follow up with you.

When you email me. I receive your email address and whatever you write, and use them to reply.

Running the site. The site’s host, Netlify, keeps standard server logs (such as your IP address, browser and the time of the request) to run the site and keep it secure. The fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers to fetch them.

Your cookie choice is saved in your own browser so the banner doesn’t ask again. It isn’t sent to me.

Who else handles it

Only the service providers that run the site and its tools: Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, Calendar and Fonts), Netlify (hosting) and my email provider. They handle the information on my behalf. I don’t sell personal information, and I don’t share it for advertising.

Outside Quebec and Canada

These providers may store or process information in the United States and other countries, where privacy laws may differ from those in Quebec and Canada.

How long I keep it

Analytics data is kept for no longer than 14 months. Booking details and emails are kept as long as needed for our conversation and for normal business records, then deleted.

Your choices and rights

Change your cookie choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page.
Ask what personal information I hold about you, and how it’s used.
Correct it, or ask me to delete it.
Withdraw your consent to any use that depends on it.

Email hello@neo-edge.ai and I’ll reply within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied with my answer, you can complain to the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (if you live in Quebec) or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Keeping it safe

I use reasonable safeguards for the information I hold. If a confidentiality incident creates a risk of serious harm, I’ll tell the people affected and the regulator, as the law requires.

Children

This site is for businesses and isn’t meant for anyone under 14.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date. Last updated 6 October 2026.
